During normal days, it looks like just a regular Toyota and Lexus dealer & car showroom. But during festive seasons may it be Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Aidiladha, Chinese New Year or Christmas, the hill will be decorated and transformed to a wonderful landscape.

Attached is the Aidilfitri version and it will be a major attraction in the evening when the lights were on. Not only tourists but locals would come and take photos of it as they change the decorations according to festives and varies in design and concept.

Sıradan günlerde bir Toyota Lexus satış show-room ‘ u olan yapı, çin yeni yılı, yılbaşı veya Aidilfitri gibi festival günlerinde dekore edilmekte ve harika bir yere dönüşmektedir. Fotoğrafta gördüğünüz konsept Aidilfitri dekorasyonudur ve geceleri ışıklar yandığında harika bir görüntü ortaya çıkar. Sadece turistler değil yerel halk bile önünde fotoğraflar çektirir.

Ayvalık’taki eski zeytinyağı fabrikasının siyah beyaz bir fotoğrafını çekmiştim. Önündeki sandallarla beraber nostaljik bir görüntü oluştu

Wherever we are in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei‘s capital city, we can’t help noticing the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque dominating the skyline of the city centre of Bandar Seri Begawan.

Mosques have long dominated the skyline in Brunei. In 1578 during the reign of Sultan Saiful Rizal, a Spanish traveler, Alonso Beltran described the main mosque as one made up of five layers.

The Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is said to be one of the most beautiful mosques in the Southeast Asian region. It symbolised the country’s official religion of Islam.The design was heavily influenced by Mughal architecture in India. The Mughal Emperors who ruled India for about 350 years from the early 16th Century, built many of India’s beautiful historical mosques and buildings including the Taj Mahal.

The mosque used many of the world’s most elegant materials, including marble from Italy, granite from Shanghai, stained glass and chandeliers weighing four tons and two tons from England and handmade carpets from Belgium and Saudi Arabia.

Brunei’nin başkenti Bandar Seri Begawan’da yer alan Omar Ali Saifuddien camii 1578 yılında Sultan Saiful Rizal zamanında yapılmıştır. Ülkede resmi din islamın sembolüdür. Güney asyanın en güzel camilerinden birisi olan Omar Ali Saifuddien camii, hindistanı 350 yıl yöneten Mughal imparatorluğunun Taj Mahal’İnde içinde olduğu mimarisinden çok etkilenmiştir. Kubbesi altın olan camii’de içinde İtalya’dan mermer, Şangay’dan granit ve İngiltere’den avizeler ve camalar, Belçika’dan Suudi Arabistana el halıları kullanılmıştır

Çanakkale’den dönerken, Akçay yakınlarında virajlı teperlerden yavaş yavaş inerken birden bu harika manzarayla karşılaştım. Engin mavi içinde o kadar güzel görünüyordu ki arabayı hemen park edip fotoğraf makinamı kaptım. Fotoğrafını çektiğim tekne Asos’la Ayvalık arasında günü birlik sefer yapan tekneydi ve şimdi dönüş rotasında ilerliyordu.

When I was returning from Canakkale, I was slowly driving to from hill to Akcay. Suddenly I saw this amazing scene. Then I parked my car took this photo. The boat in photo is daily trip boat between Ayvalik and Asos.It was her on back route when photo was taken

Taman Rekreasi Hutan Simpan Bkt.Subok, an excellent place to exercise or even have a picnic,a recreational park which is unique, why? because you can have a very nice view of Kg. Ayer [Water Village] and Bandar Seri Begawan [Capital City], from the top. It also have a route that you can walk through, it used to be wooden stairs and walkways and just recently after going there it is now concrete all the way. You might be wondering where this Recreational place is, well its actually located along Jalan Residency, that is the road that leads to Jalan Kota Batu, where the Museum is located. So guys if you wanna do a KNK, go and visit it,and don’t forget to bring a bottle of water,you might need it.

Taman Rekreasi Hutan Simpan Bkt.Subok piknik veya spor yapmak için harika bir yerdir. Neden mi? Çünkü buradan bir su köyü olan Kg. Ayer ve Seri Begawan’ın (başkent) harika manzarası vardır. Jalan bölgesindeki bu park yürüyüş yollarınada sahiptir ve müzede bu yol üzerindedir. Bölgeyi ziyaret etmek isteyenler yanında su götürmeyi unutmasınlar.

Ortaköy Camii, İstanbul‘da Boğaziçi’nde Beşiktaş ilçesinde, Ortaköy semtinde sahilde bulunan Barok tarzda bir camiidir.

Cami, Sultan Abdülmecit tarafından Mimar Nigoğos Balyan’a 1853 yılında yaptırılmıştır. Oldukça zarif bir yapı olan cami Barok üslubundadır. Boğaziçi’nde eşsiz bir konuma yerleştirilmiştir. Bütün selatin camilerinde olduğu gibi harim ve hünkar bölümü olmak üzere iki kısımdan oluşur. Geniş ve yüksek pencereler Boğaz’ın değişken ışıklarını caminin içine taşıyacak biçimde düzenlenmiştir.

Merdivenle çıkılan yapının tek şerefeli iki minaresi vardır. Duvarları beyaz kesme taştan yapılmıştır. Tek kubbenin duvarları pembe mozaiktendir. Mihrap mozaik ve mermerden, mimber ise somaki kaplı mermerden yapılmıştır ve ince bir işçiliğin ürünüdür.

Ortaköy Mosque, officially the Büyük Mecidiye Camii (Grand Imperial Mosque of Sultan Abdülmecid) in İstanbul, is situated at the waterside of the Ortaköy pier square, one of the most popular locations on the Bosphorus.

The original Ortaköy Mosque was built in the 18th century. The current mosque, which was erected in its place, was ordered by Sultan Abdülmecid and built between 1854 and 1856. Its architects were Armenian father and son Garabet Amira Balyan and Nigoğayos Balyan, who designed it in Neo-Baroque style.

The wide, high windows let the ever-changing light reflections of the Bosphorus shine in the mosque.

Sümela Manastırı , Trabzon ili, Maçka, Trabzon ilçesi, Altındere, Maçka köyü sınırları içerisinde yer alan Panagia (Meryemana) deresinin batı yamaçlarında Mela (Yunanca ‘siyah’) tepesi üzerinde deniz seviyesinden 1.150 m yükseklikte yer alan bir Rum manastır ve kilise kompleksi olup, tam adı Panagia Sumela (Παναγία Σουμελά) veya Theotokos Sumela‘dır
 
 
The Sümela Monastery (Greek: Παναγία Σουμελά, Turkish: Sümela Manastırı) stands at the foot of a steep cliff facing the Altındere valley in the region of Maçka in Trabzon Province, Turkey. It is a major tourist attraction located in the Altındere National Park. It lies at an altitude of about 1200 metres overlooking much of the alpine scenery below.
Today its main purpose is as a tourist attraction. Its place overlooking the forests and streams below make it extremely popular for its aesthetic attraction as well as for its cultural and religious interests. The Turkish government is currently undertaking necessary restoration works to the site.
